Using the same techniques as the ORBERUS, the Lencorus canibalises the Lenco platter & bearing.
The motor is sitting on a home-made platform with a simple cam arrangement to raise tilt the pulley away from the platter when not in use. more details can be found HERE.
Again, a template was designed & cut from MDF & converted to slate. The bearing is mounted onto an alloy plate & epoxied to the slate.
A standard Verus motor drives the platter. Simple & effective & is a match for any esoteric deck costing 5x the price!
This deck is using a GL70 platter with a shallower rim. 3 rubber damping rings have been stretched around the circumference.
